The process begins with a simple chat and you will tell me your hopes and dreams for your stationery. I’ll get to know you, your style, and what you hope to portray through your stationery. You will have the opportunity to view samples of my work that might further inspire you and we will also take a moment to go over the basics of what you need and the basic details of your budget. My clients reach out to me from all over the world. So whether you are able to meet with me in person, prefer to chat via phone or email, or maybe connect with me virtually over Skype, we can make it happen!** We encourage clients to send us links to their pinterest boards & blog photos, magazine photos, color swatches, and any items of inspiration to help guide the design process.
Once we have had a moment to reflect, we will now begin to plan the general design concept for stationery. For example, we will discuss colors in more detail, as well as your options for card stock and printing methods. We will then develop a detailed pricing proposal based on your needs and budget. Here at Indigo and Company we do our best to ensure everyone, regardless of your budget, can make their invitation dreams come true. We serve clients with a wide range of budgets and do our best to create a fantastic product regardless of what you plan to spend.
Once you are ready to proceed, a contract and timeline will be created. Once the contract has been signed and returned with a 50% deposit we are set and ready to get to move on to the fun part, designing and creating!
Based on everything we have discussed and decided on so far, I will begin designing the first fabulous digital proofs. Based on your feedback we will establish an overall look and then focus on the details, making any changes necessary until you are satisfied.
When you are perfectly pleased with the design, we will begin the final approval process. You will receive a final digital proof to review, being sure to check on all spelling and grammar. We will ask you to sign this proof, confirming it as the final design that is ready to be sent to production. With your stamp of approval your stationery is ready for production! All necessary materials will be ordered and your product will be printed.
Once your project is complete and final payment has been received, your product is ready for pickup or delivery!
